Biography

Mary was born in 1919. Her parents were William and Margaret Coleman. the family was living in Lee County, Florida in 1920.^[1]

She married George Clemons in 1939.^[2]. They were living in Tallahassee, leon County, Florida, in 1940.^[3] They divorced in 1946.^[4]

Then in 1948, she married Johnny Lamar Downing.^[5]

She passed away in 2003.^[6] Burial was in the Garden of Devotion in Tallahassee Memory Gardens (cemetery), Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida.^[7] She shares a grave marker with her husband, Johnny. Their marker is inscribed: Together Forever Married April 1948.^[8]
