P. Van Hoy, a descendant of Sarah Campbell, daughter of John R. Campbell, who married William A. Van Hoy. It was given out at the first annual Campbell family reunion in Union Grove, Iredell, North Carolina. It was written based on recollections of the oldest living descendants in 1925 that lived in Union Grove, North Carolina and correspondence with descendants in Izard County Arkansas, as well as research of property deeds.
