Biography

Abigail was a Friend (Quaker)

Abigail Collins was born on April 5, 1760. Her parents were John Collins ( - 1778) and Mehitable Bowen (1725 - ).

Married Nathaniel Brown.[1]

She married second William Odell about 1793.

Abigail died on July 19, 1831 aged 71, or in 1794, age 34.[citation needed]

Research Notes

Leon Brown of Rochester, NY in 1934 and descendant of John Wood Brown, had in his possession a small Quaker book which was left in the will of John Collins of Stonington to his daughter Abigail. It contained signatures of John Collins, Abigail, and her son Nathaniel Brown.
