Q. The 1880 census lists a daughter NELLIE born in 1859, but the 1870 census lists a son WILLIE born in 1859. The History of Ontario County lists a daughter NELLIE THOMPSON. So for now, I'm going will NELLIE and assuming Nellie was turned to Willie by a harried census taker. Can anyone clarify?
