Rebecca Collins, daughter of Francis Collins and Sarah Mayham Collins, married Thomas Briant in 1698.[1]
Rebeckah Collins and Thomas Briant declared their intentions of marriage for the first time at Burlington Meeting on 1st 6th mo (Aug) 1698.[2]
"Rebecca who married Thomas Briant, lived with her husband on his estate near Mount Holly, Burlington county, where he owned a large tract of land. In an affadavit made by this man in 1733... he says that he was born at Shippen Warden, Northampshire, England, in that year sixty-eight years of age, and married Rebecca Collins..."[3]
Children
"In the year 1704, Francis Collins conveyed to Thomas Briant and his wife Rebecca, a tract of land containing four hundred acres situate in the "forks" of Timber creek, a short distance west from Chew's Landing. Rebecca survived her husband and died in 1743."[4]
