Jane was born about 1717. She married first Prince Snow Jr. abt 1737. She had a son and daughter by him. He died in 1740 and she married Benjamin Bearse who already had 5 minor children. Together they had 4 more (Hannah, Sarah, David and Martha. Benjamin died in 1755 and she married 3rd in 1758 as the second wife of George Godfrey. She passed away in 1768.

However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.

The first two children mentioned in the above reference are indeed surnamed Snow. All the rest are surnamed Bearse. Jane Collins did raise all these children as Jonathan was only 9 years when Jane married Benjamin but Jane is the biological mother of the Snow children and four Bearse children : Hannah, Sarah, David, and Martha.
