I don't see how the same Rachael Coltrane could have been the wife of both Isaac Frazier and John Boyd. The children overlap. If this were correct she would have had to be a bigamist. The Newlin Family book I have shows a Rachael Coltrane, daughter of Reuben Coltrane, but she died young, so there were other females by that name. There is a marriage record for her and Isaac, but none found for John.
Vicki, I'm the profile manager for the Rachel Coltrane Frazier line. I don't have any record of a marriage to John Boyd and the source given is from Geni, a secondary source at best. I suspect John Boyd was married to a different Rachel as there are many Rachel's in the Coltrane lines. Would you agree that these should be separated?

Yes. I think they should, Elizabeth. It doesn't make any sense to keep them connected when they obviously don't belong.

Vicki, I have removed Rachel Coltrane as the wife of John Boyd and mother of the Boyd children. Rachel Boyd's profile is on FindAGrave if you want to create a profile for his wife but she is not the same Rachel Coltrane that was the daughter of William & Rachel. So many Rachels!!

Coltrane-314 and Coltrane-8 appear to represent the same person because: Same dates; correct birthplace is Randolph, not Edenton.

Coltrane-95 and Coltrane-8 appear to represent the same person because: Parents have been merged; cleaning up duplicate profiles. Coltrane-95 has erroneous information copied off the web. Please merge and keep info from Coltrane-8.

Coltrane-95 and Coltrane-8 do not represent the same person because: Please do not merge these lines; there is a lot of erroneous information that has not been corrected.

Coltrane-95 and Coltrane-8 appear to represent the same person because: Same spouse and children - Father to be merged as well
Coltrane-8 and Coltrane-210 appear to represent the same person because: Seems to be a dupl. other than a different date on birth.
