William was born about 1794. Burials of he and Sarah in Chambers County, Alabama shows modern stones whose dates are not documented elsewhere, with matching death dates, very rare unless proven to be be house fire or other catastrophe.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with William:
Thank you for your interest. Since not everyone has access to ancestry, we slightly favor Family Search links, but we do not accept links to family trees, only documents. There is too much trust in uncited family trees on Wikitree, especially with this family, because an over-zealous person named W John Slayton published books with complete made-up "data" along with some good work, and ancestry trees are corrupted with that since about 1999. I saw the actual record (record of the record) in Georgia Archives.
