Biography

Robert CONANT was born on 26 April 1699 in Beverly, Essex County, Massachusetts^[1], ^[2] to Lott CONANT, Jr. and Martha CLEAVES. He was christened on 7 May 1699 in Beverly, Essex County, Massachusetts^[3]

Robert wrote his will on 25 March 1773. In this will, Robert lists his wife, Sarah and several children. Sarah was his second wife. It is unknown at this time if any of the children listed in the will were from his second marriage.

His first marriage was to a woman named Easther.

Robert CONANT and Esther have been found as parents of the following children:

1. Samuel CONANT (Born: 25 July 1722 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts)
2. Josiah CONANT (Born: 4 November 1723 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts; Died: Before 25 May 1773 [listed as deceased in father's will])
