Thomas died on 4 June 1880 in Camden County, Missouri, and he is buried there in the Conway Cemetery.[3]
Parentage
On-line trees at Ancestry.com assert that Thomas was the son of Eli Conaway and Mary Baker. However, several original sources offer direct evidence that Eli and Mary had another son Thomas, who was born ten years later, during the life time of this Thomas Jefferson Conaway. So far, no evidence from contemporary sources has been discovered that indicates that this Thomas Conaway was indeed the son of Eli and Mary.
He profile remains connected to Eli and Mary for now until his true origins can be discovered.
