Conkling-127 and Conklin-1232 appear to represent the same person because: definitely appear to be same person.

Family used several spellings, but Conklin was most common.

Conkling-127 and Schellinger-8 appear to represent the same person because: Please merge, see updates to her husband's Jacob Schellinger's will

etc. Conkling is her correct surname.
