Betsey K. Conner passed away 19 April 1933 at Palmer, Hampden County, Massachusetts. She is buried at Fairfax Plains Cemetery, Fairfax, Franklin County, Vermont. [2]
Obituary
Funeral of Mrs. W.N. Richards, 85 - Sunday Services. Mrs. W.N. Richards, widow of W. Nelson Richards, died at the home of her son, Horace Richards, in Palmer, Mass., April 19. The funeral was held in the United Church Sunday at Colchester and burial was in Fairfax. The Rev. A. Ritchie Low of Johnson was the officiating clergyman. Mrs. Richards was 85 years old. She is survived by ten children, Mrs. Alice Jaquith of Portsmouth, N.H., Mrs. Lottie Clay of Derry, N.H., Mrs. Sadie Willis of Boston, Mass., Vernon E. Richards of Worcester, Mass., John, Hobart and Ward Richards of Milton, Henry Richards of White River Junction, Horace of Palmer, Mass., and Alvah of Colchester. All ten children attended the funeral Sunday. Mrs. Richards was well-known in town, having lived here at different times with her son, Alvah. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. The Rev. Charles G. King will take for his sermon topic, Sunday "Tongues of Fire." The choir will sing under the direction of Chorister H. C. Monta. Church school will meet at noon with Superintendent M.E. Thompson in charge. Christian Endeavor will meet at 7:30 p.m., topic, "Stories Jesus Told."
