Biography

Joseph was born October 17, 1905 in Frisco, Denton County, Texas. ^[1] He was the son of Henry Cook and Pearl Farmer. ^[1]

On January 9, 1926 he married Dora Ruth Deweese in Collin County, Texas. ^[2]They were the parents of about five children; they were the grandparents of Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

He passed away May 26, 1957 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. ^[1][3]. Joe was laid to rest in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, United States. ^[4]
