On 24 March 1757 Eunice Atwater married Phineas Cook in Wallingford, Connecticut. [4]
He died some time before 18 Mar 1768 when his wife remarried. Eunice is referred to as "widow" of Phineas Cook. Ebenezer Townsend married March 18, 1768 Eunice Atwater born Sept 10, 1736. She was daughter of Caleb and Mehitable (Mix) Atwater and widow of Phineas Cook. [5]
