Blanche Cora Farrey
BENTON, Wis.--Services for Blanche Cora Farrey, 83, of Benton will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Benton Primitive Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Leadmine Primitive Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Gene Seigert and Son Funeral Home, Benton, and after 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Farrey, who was born Dec. 19, 1903, in New Diggings Townshipof Lafayette County, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 2, 1987, at Lafayette Manor, Darlington. She married LaVerne Farrey Sept. 20, 1923. She was a homemaker and a member of the Leadmine Primitive Methodist LadiesAide.
Her Husband died May 2, 1961. Surviving are five sons, Donald of Grand Rapids, Mich., Dale of Leadmine, Wayne of Lancaster, Gordon of Manasas, Va., and Carl of Northglenn, Colo.; two daughters, Lois Clark of Anchorage, Ala. and Mrs Jack (Nancy) Russell of Genesseo, Ill.; 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Jeanette Perkins and Melva Shannon, both of Benton, and Arlene Ewing of Platteville.
