Alice Cook (married name McGrice) was born on 24 March 1883 in Nhill, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Margaret Alice (Middlemiss) Cook and William Cook.^{[citation needed]}

She married Alfred McGrice on 20 March 1912 in Victoria.^[1] Their daughter was:

• Alice Freyda McGrice (1912–2006)^[2]

Alice died on 8 September 1958 in Lillimur, Victoria, aged 75 years.^[3]
