Muriel Cook, daughter of Iona Alfarata Bacon and Franklin Richard Cook, married Charles Francis Brooks sometime before 1920 (unsourced).

The 1920 census lists Charles F Brooks, 21, farmer, Oregon; Muriel L Brooks, 17; Era V Wilson, 16, boarder; Francis P Brooks, 39; Maud L Brooks, 38, mother; living in Arkansas, Cowlitz, Washington.

Muriel had three children by Charles: Charles Francis Brooks JR, Ernest Franklin Brooks and Iona Maud Brooks.

She married Albert Dee Nathaniel Kinnison on 17 Mar 1930 in Union, Oregon, after husband Charles Francis Brooks died in 1928. It was his first marriage, her second; he was 40 years old, she 28, with daughter Iona from her first marriage to Charles Brooks, who died in 1928.

1930 census lists Albert D Kennison, 40, gov't trapper, age at first marriage-40; Muriel L Kennison, 28, age at first marriage-17; Iona M Brooks, 6, step-daughter; County Road at Meecham, Umatilla, Oregon. Their only child, son Roger Dee Kinnison, was born 28 Feb 1932. He died two years, 1 month later.

The couple is still in Oregon in 1940, and step-son Ernest has joined them. The couple is in Pendleton in 1946, he's a trapper. There is no further information until Albert's death in 1972 in Maricopa, Arizona.

1940 census lists Albert D Kinnison, 51, gov't hunter, Dept of the Interior; Muriel L Kinnison, 37; Lucille Kinnison, 9; Ernest Brooks, 17, step-son, chopping wood in wood; Iona Brooks, 16; 1510 L Avenue in LaGrande, Union, Oregon.

1946, Albert D and Muriel L are at 327-1/2 SW 2d, Pendleton, Oregon; he's a trapper for US Fish & Wildlife Service.
