Chappel-244 and Cook-3656 appear to represent the same person because: Both represent the spouse of Joseph Strickland, who also was represented by multiple profiles.

Unlikely that this Abigail Chappel was the spouse of Samuel Strictland (1718-1782) of New London, Connecticut (if he even did exist, which is quite uncertain). At the times these people lived, there was virtually no contact between the northeastern and middle colonies. Moreover, if this Abigail Chappel truly was from the inland parts of Virginia (Amherst, up in the hills near Lynchburg), there would have been virtually no opportunity for such folks to have "found" each other.

Note that both of Abigail's previously attached Strickland husbands lived full lives. She couldn't have married both of them. This profile begs for deeper investigation and significant edits based on credible sourcing.

So far I've only found part of a transcribed Will in another person's tree (which lacks the source to where they found it) for the husband of Abigail (Cook) Stricklin, Joseph Stricklin, on ancestry.com. It mentions his wife Abigail Stricklin and one of their daughters (my ancestor) Sarah Howard. I'll keep looking for more sources for both Abigail and Joseph.

The given Sources of "ancestry.com family trees" are non-existent, the Source for "one world tree" is not valid because "one world tree" was discontinued, it does not exist anymore. This profile needs a valid source.

Why is this Cook and Chappel? Not how you do last name format in Wikitree, unless she is a Widow

The 2 profiles have been changed and no longer look like a match.

Chapell-60 and Chappel-244 are not ready to be merged because: further research needs to be done, as inputted information is missing.
