Isaac Cooke was born at Salem, Massachusetts on April 3, 1640, son of Henry and Judith (Birdsale) Cooke. [1]
He married Elizabeth Buxton at Salem on May 3, 1664. [1] Elizabeth was the daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth Buxton of Salem.
Anthony Buxton wrote his will on March 8, 1683/4. In it he left bequests to his daughter Elizabeth, wife of Isaac Cook. [2]
[Note: An Isaac Cooke of Salem, wrote his will on September 4, 1692.[3]In he left bequests to:
beloved wife Elizabeth
son Samuel, when he comes to age 21
son Henry, when he comes to age 21
my six daughters
daughter Wilson
five youngest daughters, Mary, Abigail, Hannah, Sarah and Lydia L20 each to be paid when the come of age or marriage
grandson Isaac Wilson
grandsons Robert and Elizabeth Wilson
wife Elizabeth to be sole executor, until two sons come of age and then they will be joined executors[3]
