Biography

Noah Cook(e) was born in Mendon, Province of Massachusetts Bay, in British North America, He was the 5th son (10th child) of Nicholas Cook(e) and Joanna Rockford. His siblings included Josiah, Mehitable, Joanna, Mary, Anne, Seth, Daniel, David and Abigail (all born in Mendon as well). After his mother passed away, his father remarried, to Mehitable Hayward (in late 1712), who was the 'mother' who raised him.
