Elizabeth was buried on 6 January 1796 in Beaminster, Dorset, England.[1]
Research Notes
The only church in Beaminster in the 18th century was St Mary's (although a chapel opened on East Street in 1796). Records of baptisms at St Mary's have been preserved. No Cooks were baptised at St Mary's during the relevant period.
The best match is Elizabeth Cook, daughter of Richard, who was baptised on 24 July 1720 in Thorncombe, Dorset, which is 8 miles from Beaminster. [2]
