In 1918, Dillard registered for the WWI Draft. His occupation is listed as "Merchant," and his employer is Hendrix Mercantile Company. His nearest relative is listed as "Mrs. Hattie I. Cook," which I think is probably his wife. They are living in Musselshell County, Montana. His physical description says that he is of medium height, slender build with blue eyes and brown hair.[2]
