Great Grandson of Francis Cooke who came on the Mayflower.


Caleb Cooke married Hannah Shurtleff on 4 Mar 1723/4 they were parents of 12 children. He is buried at Old Burying Ground, Kingston, Plymouth, MA.

Caleb was buried after 19 August 1762. Kingston, Plymouth, Massachusetts

Probate

The Will of Caleb Cook of Kingston, gentleman, was dated 13 May 1762 and proved on 5 September 1762in Plymouth. He mentions his wife Hannah, and his children, Benjamin Cook (sole executor), Ephraim Cook, Hannah Cook, Rebecca Cook, and Lydia Cook, and his grandchildren, Bartlett Cook, and Amos Cook (sons of his deceased son Caleb Cook). His inventory was taken on 14 October 1762 in Kingston.[1]

In 1762, an estate distribution according to his will was set out to Benjamin, Ephraim, and the children of Caleb.[2]

In 1763, an account of his estate by Benjamin Cook was recorded which included funeral charges, debts paid, and administration fees.[3]
