He was a private in the Continental Troops during the Revolutionary War. [4][5]

Levi married Sarah Pool on 10 February 1780 in Abington, Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States.[6][7]

Levi was in the census in 1790, in Plymouth, Massachusetts.[8]

Research Note

Wife Sarah, in order to get Levi's pension, said the following in her deposition: The above marriage date is incorrect. Sarah states in her deposition to receive Levi's pension that the clerk made a recording error. Sarah said she and Levi married 10 Feb 1779.
