Biography

"2-2. Thomas, of 'Warham,' Gloucester Co., Va. He was appointed Surveyor of Gloucester and Middlesex, in 1707, by Col. Miles Cary, Surveyor General for William and Mary College. In his contract he agrees to give one-sixth of his receipts to said College. In 1717 he was reappointed to the same position by Peter Beverly, the successor of Miles Cary ; he m. Mary, of what family is unknown, and had issue."[1]
