Parish record at Great Budworth in 1883 for the marriage of Annie Harriot Cooke to William Miller states that the father of Annie Harriot Cooke is Charles Cooke, carpenter. The 1891 census for Northwich, Cheshire shows that Annie Miller was born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. The 1911 census for Northwich, Cheshire shows William Miller with Annie Harriet Miller, born Montfort, Shropshire. Montfort is 5 km from Shrewsbury, Shropshire. A record from the parish of St. Michael in Shrewsbury shows the baptism of Annie Harriet Cooke on 12 January 1862, born 22 December 1861, daughter of Charles, carpenter, and Emma Cooke, living in Ditherington (2 km northeast of Shrewsbury). The 1871 census for Montfort Bridge (6 km northwest of Shrewsbury, Shropshire) lists Charles Cooke, carpenter, born Montford, his wife, Emma, born Leaton, and Ann H., 9, among other children, born Shrewsbury.
