- Elisha Cooke was thrice married. By his first wife, Rebecca Eggerton, he had sixteen children; by his second wife, Sarah Jackson, he had two children (James and Mary); by his third wife, Abigail ___, he had no children.

- His last wives were widows when he married them: Sarah was the widow of Mr Doty; and Abigail the widow of Mr Brown.

- Rebecca died post 1765; Sarah died unknown; and Abigail outlived him
