Daniel Cooley was born 23 Mar 1683/4 in Springfield, son of Daniel and Elizabeth (Wolcott) Cooley.

Daniel first married on 7 Nov 1710 to Jemima Clark, dau of John & Mary (Crow) Clark. Jemima died 29 Oct 1732 in Springfield.

Daniel was the father of nine children. [2]

  2. Birth is normally stated to be 23 March 1683; was this affected by the Julian calendar change, and therefore it's really 1684, as stated above? This needs to be resolved.
  3. Prior data stated he was born and died in Springfield, Hampden County, MA. Edited to Hampshire County, to match the place names pre-Rev War.
