Biography
I'm the third of four sons born to Patricia Gabrielle Romaine Coomer (12/01/1926-2/20/2006) and Albert Monroe Coomer (11/18/1926- ). Born in Illinois in 1960, my parents moved us to Arizona in late 1966 due to my brother William's poor health. I currently reside in the Portland, Oregon area. In addition to driving a city bus, I am the author of a blog and have been published online as well as by Chicken Soup for the Soul. I have three children; Anna Michelle Coomer (07/22/1984- ) from my first marriage; Zakary Aaron Coomer (2/23/1995- ) and Justin Andrew Coomer (11/04/1997- ) from my current wife Stacey Lynn Gilmer Coomer (09/06/1973- ).
