Biography

Laurence Clark Cooper was born on September 7, 1916^[1] in San Diego, San Diego, California, USA.^[2][3] He was the son of Robert Pomeroy "Roy" Coomer and Daphney Helena Roberts.

In the 1920 census Laurence (age 3) was living with his Mother, Daphne, in Mountain Dell, Uintah, Utah, USA. Marital Status: SingleRelation to Head of House: Son^[4]

In the 1930 census Laurence (age 13) was living in Ouray Valley, Uintah, Utah, USA. Marital Status: SingleRelation to Head of House: Son^[5][6]

He married Inez Ruth Stevens (1919-1996) on June 19, 1941 in Cardston, Cardston, Alberta, Canada.^[7]

In 1946 according to a city directory Laurence (age about 29) and Inez were living in Provo, Utah, USA.^[8]

He and his wife Inez (age 30) lived in Vernal, Uintah County, Utah with their children, Laurence, David, Howard, Daphne and Ruth in 1950.^[9]

Laurence died at the age of 60 on 5 August 1977 in Jensen, Uintah, Utah, USA.^[2]He was buried in the Cedar City Cemetery, in Cedar City, Iron County, Utah, USA.^[1]
