According to the History of Ogle County, Illinois, 1878, Eda A. was the daughter of Peter and Mary (Serick) Cooper. Eda was born 10 Aug 1861 in Ogle County, Illinois.

According to the 880 US Census for Flagg, Ogle, Illinois, Eda Ann Cooper was the eighteen-year-old daughter living in her father's household as a farm laborer. Eda Ann passed away after 1880.
