Mariah Cooper was born in Oregon 3 May 1853 to William Shepherd Cooper and Mary Ann Crozier.
Mariah is pronounced like Maria, but she is listed in the census by her middle name, so presumably she preferred that.
She married Elisha Walling 7 September 1870 in Yamhill County.
