John was married twice:

His first wife was Evelyn Pfaff and they were married in March of 1944.^[1]

His first marriage ended in a divorce and on Mar 17, 1955 in Pasadina, CA John married his second wife, Lorraine (Rowan) Shevlin.^[2][3]
