Martha Cooper was the daughter of Edmund Cooper and Mary Wynne. Martha "Cowper" was baptised at Henlow, Bedfordshire, 15 Mar 1578.[1][2]
Martha married, at Henlow, James Sampson, 20 May 1599.[3][4] She was the mother of ten children, one of whom was Henry Sampson, born 1604, who emigrated to New England in 1620 on the Mayflower.
