Edward (Ned) was born on 17 Aug 1773 at Wake County, North Carolina or Spartanburg District, South Carolina, a son of David Cooper and Elizabeth Wilder.[1][2]
Marriage
Ned married in 1795 at Spartanburg, SC, to Susanna (Cole),[1] daughter of Thomas Cole and Martha Rice.[3]
Property
In about 1795, Ned's family removed, with his brother, Malachi Cooper and his wife, Anna Wilkerson, to Lincoln County (which would become Pulaski County in 1799), Kentucky.[4] The two men were described as "a pair of tall, silent brothers" (p 39).[1]
Ned bought land on Putnam Creek, Pulaski County, Kentucky. On September 30th, 1834, his land on Putman Creek was sold. In 1840, Edward was residing in Wayne County, Kentucky.
