Biography

Mary Cooper the daughter of Timothy Cooper and Elizabeth (Unknown) Cooper, was born about 1641.^{[1] [2]} .

Mary Cooper/Caper married Joseph Gilson in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, November 10, 1661. ^{[3] [2] [4]}

Joseph and Mary originally settled in Chelmsford, but had removed to Groton by March 5, 1665/6, where Joseph was one of the original proprietors. They left Groton and moved to Concord about 1675 when Groton experienced Indian troubles. ^[5]
