Abigail, who m. Stephen Bayley, was dtr of Thomas Cooper (1627-1658) who m. wid Margaret Ramsdell (d. 1687)[1]

Abigail died 15 January 1685. It appears Stephen Bayley re-married 15 Dec 1688 but spouse not named. Then follows more children born 1689-1695.[3]

Thomas Cooper’s will mentions wife Margaret, our daughters Abigail, and Marie Ramsdale who is my niece’s daughter. His will Can be found in Southold town records volume one page 445. Inventorie on p. 446 mentions a Jewish.....neither signature nor date of proof are on this will. But the inventory of his estate was done 20 Jan 1659.
