Biography

Jefferson was born in 1860. He was the son of Jackson Cooper and Rhoda Cryer. He passed away about 1919.

When Jefferson C Cooper was born on August 22, 1860, in Rapides, Louisiana, his father, Jackson, was 29 and his mother, Rhonda, was 19. He married Sarah Clementine (Clemmie) Miller on July 2, 1878, in Vernon, Louisiana. They had 14 children in 16 years. He died on September 19, 1919, in Rosepine, Louisiana, at the age of 59, and was buried there.
