I started researching my family history in 1992 after my parents idd. I wanted to understand how my family came to live in Birmingham from various places in the UK. I am now retired. I understand how difficult it is to look up records from far away. It is quite an expensive hobby. I enjoy ferreting away finding records. I I especially enjoy mysteries around ancestors.
