Biography

Juliana Corbett[1] alias Julia Corbet[2]

Juliana was a daughter of — Corbett of Morton[1] or Corbet of Moreton.[2]

Julia was married to Sir Hugh Peshale[2] or Peshall de Horsley.[1] Sir Hugh was sheriff of Staffordshire in 1488.[2]

Julia and Hugh had children:

  1. Humphrey Peshall, married Helena Swinnerton,[2] de Swinnerton, widow of ‐ Delves,[1] Humphrey died in 1498;[2]
  2. Maria, who was the wife of George Blount de Kinlett;[1]
  3. —, who was the wife of — Chetwind de Chetwind;[1]
  4. —, who was the wife of — Bassett;[1] and
  5. Brereton Peshall,[1] or — who was the wife of Breriton.[3]

Research Notes

In The Visitation of Shropshire, Taken in the Year 1623, Robert Corbet and his wife, Margaret Mallory, have only one daughter, Maria, who was married to Robert Charlton de Aply.[4]
