Biography
When Mary U. (Ulysses) S. Corbin was born on March 24, 1869, in Albertville, Alabama, her father, Merida, was 38, and her mother, Mary, was 37. [1]
She married Newman Gales Shirey on February 10, 1904, in DeKalb, Alabama. They had five children during their marriage. [2]
She died on June 21, 1952, in Fort Payne, Alabama, at the age of 83, and was buried in DeKalb, Alabama.[3][4]
