David was a well-to-do landowner in Hamphsire County (West) Virginia. He bought and sold several tracks of land both with and without his wife listed as Bathsheba. David wrote his will in 1824, but it was not probated until 1828. Which we can assume means he wrote it four years before he died. In his will he mentions wife Bathsheba and leaves land/homestead to her. However, she passed away in 1825 so the property was left to her children after they presented the documents necessary for probate. Mentioned in his will:

  • Bathsheba Corbin, Wife,
  • Alcey, Daughter,
  • Mildred, Daughter
  • Humphry Corbin, Son
  • Isaiah Corbin, Son
  • Elizabeth Poulson, Daughter
  • Daniel Corbin, Son
