On February 17, 1900, Myrtle married for a second time, this time to John Greenup, born in Pennington Point, Illinois. Myrtle's birthplace is given as "Industry, Illinois". The marriage took place in Galesburg, Knox County, Illinois, and the record indicates that both the bride and groom had been widowed. Both Myrtle and John had been married previously, and each brought a child from the previous marriage to form a blended family. Grace H. Cordell-989 and Cordell-272 appear to represent the same person because: Both Myrtles died on November 7, 1918. Both married John Greenup. Both were born October 20, although the year is 1872 for Cordell-989 and 1873 for Cordell-272. ("October 1872") is written in on the 1900 US census for Myrtle's month and year of birth.
One profile gives her name as "Frances Myrtle Cordell", the other has "Myrtle F. Cordell" (the names are shown both ways on census records). Findagrave uses "Frances Myrtle Cordell", but there is no headstone photograph.
The same family members are either linked or mentioned in records for both profiles: father and mother, James W. and Anna (Springer) Cordell, etc.
The two profiles each provide supplemental information to make a more complete picture of Myrtle, her family, and her life. Apart from the minor variations mentioned above there doesn't appear to be contradictory information.
