Biography
Martha was born in 1860 in Johnson County Arkansas. She was the daughter and first child of Leroy Corley and Dicey Smith. At the age of 9 she was living with her mother and stepfather in the 1870 census. She married James H. Sherrell in Logan County, Arkansas, in 1878. Martha died in 1890. She was buried in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Logan County, Arkansas, along with her two infant children. Her husband was later buried along side her grave.
