Corneliszen, Hendrick's patronymic, is the first "surname" that appears for him in church records. Quackenbush-118 08:49, 20 April 2017 (EDT)

Acknowledgments
This person was created through the import of PittsPenn_2010-09-21.ged on 22 September 2010.
So is daughter Claesjen born Dec. 29 1680 the one who married (1) Johannes Bogart and (2) Johannes de Graaf? And thus has an LNAB of Schaÿck (Purple, p. 92)?
You may have forgotten that the New Netherland project page has rather detailed guidance for determining LNABs. It's at New Netherland Settlers: Last Name at Birth. In almost all cases, we look first at the person's baptism record. If the father was recorded with a surname that is not his patronymic, we use that surname as the child's LNAB. If the father was recorded with his patronymic, we go to the earliest church record for the person that shows that person with their own last name (usually this is a marriage record or the earliest child's baptism), and use that name.
By itself, the baptism record for Lijsbeth that appears on this profile did not give a basis for determining her LNAB because her father was recorded with his patronymic name. The LNAB determination requires additional church records. On the profile for her husband I see an indication that she was recorded as "Elisabeth Van Schayk" at her marriage. On the profile for the earliest child that you connected to her new profile, I see an indication that she was recorded as "Elisabeth Van Schaick" at the child's baptism. If those are the earliest records that exist, we would record "van Schayk" as her LNAB, but before changing the LNAB I would like to see the records transcribed on her profile with more complete source citations. (Because multiple LNAB changes create multiple redirects within WikiTree, we shouldn't change LNABs until we are rather sure our choice will be stable.)
EDITED: The profile for Belitje is not a precedent for siblings' LNABs. Belitje's profile was created before there were clear policies on New Netherland LNABs, and it is in Category:New Netherland Settlers Project Needs LNAB because there was a perceived need for research before determining her LNAB. There appears to be some concern about possible confusion/conflation with another Belitje van Schaick. That "Needs LNAB" category is not some sort of a personal "TO DO" list for project leaders. The thousands of profiles in the category need attention from interested descendants and other volunteers, to find and document the reliable sources to confirm the person's biography, including the person's LNAB.
VanSchaick-2 and Van Schaick-112 appear to represent the same person because: This should be okay to merge. No tree conflicts. Please keep the Van Schaick-112 with the space after the prefix, per NNS convention on deep ancestors. Ignore the lower number, which is irrelevant here. Thanks!
