Some of the Gray researchers believe Sarah's last name wasn't Corey.

Cory would most likely be the proper spelling of the name at the time. The William Cory family were early adopters of the "e" addition and many branches started to add it in the late 18th, early 19th century.

Corey-495 and Cory-327 appear to represent the same person because: They are the same person, for some reason people think that Cory is spelled with an "e" in the 18th century, wrong. This application is unable to properly search on surname variations, so the same people get entered with surname variations.
