Scholastique was baptized December 29, 1810, on the day of her birth at Saint-Henri-de-Lauzon, Québec. She was the daughter of François Coté and Marguerite Leclerc.[1] Scholastique Coté married François Bourgeois on October 27, 1829, at Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec.[2]
She was buried August 10, 1850, from the cathedral Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec. Her widower François Bourgeois remarried in 1854.[3]
