Maureen Coulter Osler, born February 22, 1948, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Daughter of Harold William Coulter and Joan Madelyn Pellow Coulter. Siblings James Stewart (17 December,1948,) Martha Jean (20 October,1953), and Stephen Harold (20 October, 1959). Most of my schooling was in Montreal area until 1962, when my family moved to Westport, Connecticut due to my father being transferred to New York City with Alcan Canada. After graduating from high school, I returned to Montreal to be trained as a registered nurse at the Royal Victoria Hospital School of Nursing, from which I graduated from in August 1968. On October 14, 1972, I moved to Edmonton, Alberta with a girlfriend, Alice Szojka, where we both found employment as registered nurses at The University of Alberta Hospital. On May 29, 1974, I met Lloyd Richard Osler at a party I held. We were married the following May 31, 1975. Lloyd was divorced, and had a son, Todd Lloyd Osler who was born on 17 July, 1968. Lloyd and I had 3 children together: Kimberly Joan (7 September, 1977), Kathryn Elizabeth (21 March, 1980), and Michael Stewart (30 August, 1981). Todd came to live with us permanently in July of 1983. Michael, sadly, was diagnosed with Schizophrenia at the age of 12, and battled demons then also drug addiction following the divorce of his spouse in 2017. He continues to have those battles to this date (18 Sept. 2021)
