Barker Funeral Held Thursday Funeral services for Mrs. J. J. Barker, 68, of Wellington were held Thursday, March 25, from the Primitive Baptist Church, with Rev. Floyd Pittman of Vinson, Oklahoma, in charge. A native of Texas, Mrs. Barker, (nee. Della California Coulter) was born February 22, 1869, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Coulter. She died March 24, being sixty-eight years, one month, and two days of age. The family moved to Wellington a year ago, but during that time she had gained many friends. Mrs. Barker was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, J. J. Parker of Wellington; eight daughters and two sons, Mrs. Donathan of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Maud Bailey of Clinton, Oklahoma, Mrs. Ira Trent of Hammond, Oklahoma, Mrs. Fannic Smith of San Francisco, California, Mrs. Jay Roberts of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Mrs. W. H. Willingham of Quail, Mrs. Kenenth Cox and Mrs. Gertie Fay Newman of Brighton, Colorado, Tom Barker of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, and Charlie Barker of Cee Vee, Texas. Four brothers and two sisters also survive. Pall bearers were Charlie Burns, Ed Koen, Sam Koen, H. B. Pat- terson, B. H. Martindale and Austin Newman. Hymns were "House of the Lord," "Where Jesus is Will Be Heaven for Me," and "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be." Interment was in the Quail Cemetery, with the Wellington Funeral Home in charge.
