Barbara Countryman Rabetoy died yesterday Oct. 10, 1956, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Edward (Mary) Wing, at 201 Main Street. She was born Dec. 10, 1874 (sic), the daughter of the late Jacob and Eliza Jane Wells Countryman on Wellesley Island, Jefferson County.[2]
Remains were removed to the Ramsdell Ewart Funeral Home and were taken last evening to the home of her daughter where funeral services will be held Saturday at a time to be announced. [3]
Mrs. Rabetoy moved to Ogdensburg 30 years ago. Before that she was a dressmaker in Watertown. Mrs. Rabetoy was the last of 12 children. Surviving is her daughter, Mrs. Wing of Ogdensburg. ~obituary[4]
George was a farmer in the Waddington, New York area. According to his obituary, at the time of his death, he and his wife "had not lived together for many years.” [5]::Barbara’s birth is 1873(grave) or 1871(baptism rec.).[6]
